The Stock Builder works directly inside the Fusion 360 panel. No separate application, no file exports — the stock body is created in the active design.
Parametric templates
Define stock by type (box, cylinder), dimensions and offset. Save as a company template. Parameters can be fixed by the admin or left editable for the operator.
3D canvas preview
A real-time 3D preview of the stock geometry inside the panel. Rotate, inspect and confirm before inserting into the design.
Z-face and origin selection
Click a face in the 3D canvas to set the Z+ direction. Pick an origin point from five positions on that face. The WCS is set automatically on insert.
Company library
Admins publish templates to the company library. Operators browse, select and insert. Everyone works from the same approved set of stock definitions.
Automatic Fusion 360 insert
Stock is built as a parametric body in a separate Fusion 360 design file and inserted as an external reference. Transparent overlay, correct joint origin.
CAM setup integration
The inserted stock body is automatically assigned to the CAM setup as the stock solid. No manual selection required after insertion.
