Our story
Built from real manufacturing experience.
MTWorkflow was born from a challenge we experienced firsthand on the shop floor — and a belief that skilled people deserve better tools.
The problem we saw
In many manufacturing companies, highly skilled people lose valuable time before the real work even begins. Time is spent on repetitive programming tasks, manual data entry, searching for the right information, preparing setups, managing files, and keeping workflows organized.
CNC programmers, engineers, and manufacturing professionals are at their best when they are solving technical problems, improving processes, optimizing toolpaths, and making production smarter. That is the work that requires experience, creativity, and real manufacturing knowledge.
But too often, that work is slowed down by everything around it.
A different way to look at it
Before creating MTWorkflow, we looked at different AI and automation tools — including options built around Fusion 360 and broader manufacturing software. Many of them were impressive, but they focused on automating the final result. We saw the problem differently.
The biggest bottleneck is often not the programmer. It is the workflow around the programmer.
The preparation, the structure, the repeated steps, the disconnected systems, and the information that is difficult to find when it is needed most. That insight became the foundation of MTWorkflow.
What MTWorkflow is built for
MTWorkflow is not built to replace skilled people. It is built to support them. Our goal is to automate the repetitive, time-consuming, and non-productive parts of the manufacturing process, so people can focus on the work where their knowledge truly matters.
With MTWorkflow, manufacturers can streamline their workflows, organize information, reduce preparation time, improve consistency, and create a smarter connection between people, data, software, and production.
Some users may want to stay in control of every decision. Others may want to automate larger parts of their workflow. MTWorkflow is designed to support both.
Let people do the work they enjoy, while automation handles the repetitive tasks.

Meet the founder
Michael Wilting
MTWorkflow was founded by Michael Wilting, a manufacturing professional with hands-on experience in CNC machining, Fusion 360 CAD/CAM workflows, and production environments.
After years of working directly on the shop floor, Michael saw a recurring problem in many manufacturing companies: skilled people were spending too much time on repetitive tasks, manual data entry, searching for information, and disconnected workflows.
The issue was not a lack of knowledge or motivation. The real problem was that too much valuable time was being lost before the actual manufacturing work could even begin.
Michael first explored existing AI and automation tools, but many of them focused on the wrong part of the process. They tried to automate the final result, while the biggest bottlenecks often happened earlier in the workflow — during preparation, communication, setup, documentation, and data management.
Instead of replacing skilled people, MTWorkflow is built to support them. The goal is to automate the repetitive and time-consuming tasks, so programmers, engineers, and manufacturing teams can focus on the work that truly requires experience, creativity, and technical judgment.
Built from real manufacturing experience, for the people who make manufacturing happen.
