Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This privacy policy describes how MTWorkflow ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the MTWorkflow Fusion add-in, the MTWorkflow customer portal, or visit our website at www.mtworkflow.com.
1. Who we are
MTWorkflow is operated by Michael Wilting. You can contact us at info@mtworkflow.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data — name, email address and company name when you register for beta access or create an account.
- License and entitlement data — your license status, plan type, and license dates, used to verify access to the add-in.
- Usage data — anonymised usage counts per action (open, save, add, mapping) to understand how the add-in is used and to improve it. No file content or design data is collected.
- Support data — information you provide when submitting a support ticket, including optional screenshots, add-in version and Fusion version.
- Time registration data — if you use the optional time logging feature, job timestamps are stored locally on your machine and sent to our API for reporting. No design content is included.
- Technical data — add-in version, Fusion version, operating system and basic error logs, used to diagnose issues.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the MTWorkflow add-in and customer portal.
- To verify license entitlement when the add-in starts.
- To respond to support tickets and follow up on your requests.
- To send product updates, release notes and license notifications (you can opt out at any time).
- To understand product usage and improve the add-in.
- To comply with our obligations under the Autodesk Marketplace Publisher Agreement.
4. Legal basis (EU/UK GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the add-in and fulfil your license.
- Legitimate interests — usage analytics and product improvement, where these do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Autodesk — if you install the add-in via the Autodesk Marketplace, Autodesk may share your name, email address and order information with us for entitlement and support purposes, as described in the Autodesk Marketplace Terms of Use.
- Hosting infrastructure — our API runs on a self-hosted Raspberry Pi server within the European Union. No data is sent to third-party cloud providers.
6. Data retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after account deletion.
- Support tickets are retained for 24 months.
- Usage logs are retained for 12 months and then deleted.
- You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing info@mtworkflow.com or using the delete account option in the customer portal.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mtworkflow.com.
8. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The add-in does not use cookies.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Communication between the add-in and our API uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We will notify you if a security incident affects your data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at www.mtworkflow.com/privacy.html. If we make material changes we will notify active users by email.
